UFC 287 is right around the corner and will feature a stacked main card with some of the most exciting fighters in the sport. Let's take a closer look at the main card and what fans can expect.

The headlining fight of the night will be a highly anticipated rematch between Alex Pereira and Israel Adesanya for the UFC Middleweight Championship. Pereira, the reigning champion, has a record of 7-1-0 and is known for his striking prowess.

Conversely, Adesanya has a record of 23-2-0 and is considered one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in the sport. These two fighters have a history, with Pereira knocking out Adesanya in a kickboxing match in 2017. Adesanya will be looking to avenge that loss and claim the UFC Middleweight Championship in the process.

The night's co-main event will feature Gilbert Burns taking on Jorge Masvidal in a welterweight bout. Burns, who is ranked #5 in the welterweight division, has a record of 21-5-0 and is coming off a win over Neil Magny in his last fight.
