Preview: UFC Fight Night: Andrade vs. Blanchfield

UFC is back with another thrilling event this weekend, featuring some of the best fighters in the world. The main card kicks off at midnight UK time, so join the guys on the youtube channel for the watch along!


The main event is set to feature Jéssica Andrade and Erin Blanchfield, two flyweight fighters who are ranked #3 and #10, respectively, in the rankings.


Andrade, with a record of 24-9-0, is a force to be reckoned with in the flyweight division. The Brazilian fighter is known for her aggressive fighting style and impressive grappling skills. Meanwhile, Blanchfield, with a record of 10-1-0, is a young talent on the rise. The American fighter has impressed with her technical skills and speed in the ring submitting Molly Mccann in her last bout.




The co-main event is set to feature two heavyweights, Zac Pauga and Jordan Wright. Pauga, with a record of 5-1-0, lost to Mohammad Usman in the Ultimate Fighter finale last time out, however, he’s coming down to light heavyweight this weekend.


On the other hand, Wright has a record of 12-4-0 and is coming into this bout on a three-fight losing streak. This will be a three-round bout, with both fighters looking to make an impression in the light heavyweight division.


The main card also features a heavyweight bout between Jamal Pogues and Josh Parisian. Pogues, with a record of 9-3-0, beat Paulo Renato Jr in the contender series last time out and will be making his UFC debut this weekend. With a record of 15-5-0, Parisian beat Alan Baudot in his last fight. This will be a three-round bout with both fighters looking to climb up the table in the heavyweight division.


Another bout on the main card features a light heavyweight bout between Marcin Prachnio and William Knight. Prachnio, with a record of 15-6-0, lost to Philipe Lins in his last bout, however, has impressive wins over Khalil Rountree and Ike Villanueva.


Knight, with a record of 15-5-0, is on a two-fight losing streak after losing to Devin Clark back in April 2022. This will be a three-round bout with both fighters looking to prove themselves in the light heavyweight division.



Jim Miller and Alexander Hernandez are set to open the main card. Miller, with a record of 35-16-0, beat Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone in his previous fight and will look to continue his current 3-fight winning streak. He is a seasoned fighter with a wealth of experience in the sport.


On the other hand, Hernandez has a record of 13-6-0 and a very impressive first-round knockout win over Beneil Dariush. He will be looking to make a name for himself by defeating a veteran fighter like Miller. This will be a three-round bout, and fans can expect both fighters to come out swinging, looking for a decisive victory.


Other interesting fights on the prelims you should look out for are Ovince St. Preux vs Philipe Lins, Lina Länsberg vs Mayra Bueno Silva and the 23-0 Russian UFC debutant Khusein Askhabov taking on Jamall Emmers.
