Preview: UFC Fight Night: Emmett vs Murphy

This weekend the UFC returns to the apex for a featherweight headliner as the Brit Lerone murphy flies overseas to take on Josh Emmett on his home soil, putting his 0 on the line. This card has lots of interesting matchups with prospects and contenders from all around the world looking to make a mark on their division and chase the rankings.

Main event- Josh Emmett (19-4-0) vs Lerone Murphy (15-0-1)

The #8 ranked Josh ‘cco’ Emmett is back after a year out of the octagon facing the #10 ranked undefeated Lerone ‘the miracle’ Murphy in a 5 round main event. These

featherweights clash with Murphy risking his perfect record against one of the hardest hitters in the division. Emmett is looking to stop Murphy's momentum and make his way back to the title picture. Both coming off wins with both having many paths to victory. Can Murphy use his slick striking to pull off the victory or is Emmett's forward pressure and one punch power too much for him?

Co main event- Pat Sabatini (19-5-0) vs Joanderson Brito ( 17-4-1)

Another featherweight banger in the co main slot. Grappling specialist Pat Sabatini will be facing the powerful striker Joanderson Brito. This matchup will be interesting as each Sabatini will be looking to take down Brito , who is not easy to get down let alone keep down.

Main card - Cortavious Romious (9-3-0) vs Changho Lee (10-1-0)

In this Bantamweight matchup, prospects Cortavious Romious and Changho Lee face off with potential of both men to be the future faces of the division.

Main card - Kennedy Nzechukwu (14-5-0) vs Martin Buday (14-2-0)

Ranked #15 Nigerian heavyweight Kennedy Nzechukwu faces the Slokovian Martin Buday who is fighting for a place in the heavyweight rankings at the expense of Nzechukwu. Expect fireworks as either man could end this fight at any second.

Main card - Brad tavares (20-11-0) vs Gerald Meerschaert (37-18-0)

In this all american middleweight bout, 2 UFC veterans take on each other in Brad Tavares and Gerald ‘GM3’ Meerschaert in a classic striker vs grappler matchup.

Main card - Torrez Finney vs Robert valentin

The 3 Time DWCS winner making his UFC debut , Torrez Finney is facing Robert Valentin who is coming off a loss but is no slouch. Torrez has 8 finishes out of his 10 wins and Valentin has 7 of his 10 finishes in the first round. This fight has fight of the night written all over it with both men looking to make waves in the UFC.
